Ram Mandir Ayodhya: Ram Lalla is going to be consecrated on January 22 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. On one hand, people are eagerly waiting for this historic day, while on the other hand, there is a lot of politics going on in this matter. Opposition parties allege that BJP is trying to take political advantage from the issue of Ram Temple. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) President Uddhav Thackeray says that he too will worship Lord Ram on January 22, the only difference is that this worship will not be held in Ayodhya but in the Kalaram Temple on the Godavari River in Nashik, Maharashtra.

Addressing a press conference, Uddhav Thackeray said that he will invite the President to his program. He said that he will visit Lord Ram at Kalaram temple and perform aarti on the Godavari river. Uddhav said that when the Somnath temple was consecrated, the President had come and it was with his hands that the consecration took place, hence his demand is that the President should be called on January 22 also. Uddhav said that this is not just the life prestige of Lord Ram, it is the prestige of the country.

'I am a patriot, not a blind devotee'

Uddhav Thackeray said that he is a patriot but not a blind devotee. Taking a jibe at PM Modi, he asked why PM Modi discusses only tea. Sometimes they should also discuss over coffee and biscuits. Uddhav said that he is happy that Ram is taking the throne, we will also celebrate Diwali, but there should be a discussion on the bankruptcy of the country. Along with this, he also said that Atal Setu has been built but Atal ji's photo is not there, hence it has to be seen whether there will be a statue of Ram ji in the Ram temple or not.

‘Not attending the meeting due to work’

On attending the meeting of India Alliance, Uddhav Thackeray said that he has some tour and he has to go there, hence he will not be able to attend the meeting. He also said that there should be no misunderstanding regarding this. It is noteworthy that talks are going on between all the parties in the Indian alliance regarding seat distribution.

‘No one needs invitation to have darshan’

Let us tell you that this is not the first time that Uddhav Thackeray or his party has attacked BJP and PM Modi over Ram Temple. Even before this he had accused BJP. A few days ago, Uddhav had said that he does not need anyone's invitation to have darshan of God, he can go to the temple whenever he wants. He had also said that he would go to Ayodhya after January 22.

‘Delay in declaring Ram as candidate from Ayodhya’

Apart from this, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had also recently given a statement regarding Ram Temple. He had said that BJP has kidnapped Lord Ram. Raut said that the way BJP is doing politics in the name of Ram, it seems that the party will soon declare Lord Ram as its candidate for the elections in Ayodhya.

'Shiv Sena's contribution in Ram Mandir movement'

Uddhav also targeted Devendra Fadnavis over his contribution on Ram temple. He said that Fadnavis is ignorant, who is saying that Shiv Sena has no contribution in Ram Temple. He said that the names of many Shiv Sainiks are there in the case filed in the court. He said that his party also had an important contribution in the Ram Mandir movement.
