The deteriorating cleanliness system in Jaipur Municipal Corporation is causing disgrace to the government. The corporation administration is preparing to take major action on BVG company. Municipal Corporation Greater Administration can also get the door to door garbage collection started at its level like Municipal Corporation Heritage.

This decision has been taken in view of the frequent complaints of the employees of the company for going on strike and not working properly in the city. A round of meetings is also going on from the Municipal Corporation of Greater since the last few days. In which it is being discussed that how the Municipal Corporation can make alternate arrangements after the removal of BVG.

This company is doing the work of lifting work from home in Jaipur city. Because of this company, Rajaram Gurjar, the husband of the current Mayor Soumya Gurjar, had to spend 94 days in jail on charges of bribery. At the same time, for the last one week, the people of Jaipur city are facing problems due to non-collection of garbage.

Hopper did not come to the city for 6 days

Due to non-payment of about Rs 14 crore, the employees of the company have stopped work in Jaipur. Due to this, Hooper did not come to the houses to collect garbage for the last 5 days in Jaipur city. People are now compulsively throwing garbage on the streets. Due to which the condition of the city is deteriorating day by day. In view of this, the Municipal Corporation has now started using its own resources for cleaning.

A year ago, there was a proposal to remove

The Municipal Corporation of Greater had passed a resolution on 28 January 2021 last year in the general meeting to cancel the agreement of BVG and make alternative arrangements, but the company challenged this decision in the High Court. The High Court, while delivering the verdict on February 2 this year, refused to give relief to BVG Company. Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Puneet Karnavat had also written a note sheet to the Municipal Corporation Commissioner recently, asking him to make arrangements for cleanliness by putting resources at the level of the corporation.

Mayor Saumya Gurjar was tarnished because of the company

Mayor Soumya Gurjar's husband Rajaram Gurjar had to go to jail only in the case of video of taking bribe of Rs 20 crore from BVG company went viral. In this video, RSS pracharak Nimbaram was also seen talking. After this whole matter, there was a tremendous political ruckus. People of BJP were calling it a video of discussion of works to be done for CSR fund, while Congressmen were calling this video openly asking for bribe. Taking cognizance of the matter, the ACB had arrested Rajaram Gurjar as well as the company's representative Omkar Sapre.

The contract has been given at small level.

At present, BVG Company has sublet its work on a small scale. The company has given the work of collecting garbage at the rate of Rs 1100 to Rs 1200 metric ton to the small vendors here, while the company itself takes money from the municipal corporation at the rate of 1800 metric ton. The company has at present installed about 320 vehicles (hoppers) for door to door garbage collection in Jaipur, which collects garbage in 150 wards. That is, in every ward, even 2 vehicles were not kept for completely lifting the garbage.
