President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto is the chief guest. 31 tableaux, 5,000 artists, and the fly-past of the Indian Air Force are the main attractions in the parade. This historic day is being celebrated with grand ceremonies and cultural presentations on the Kartavya Path in the capital Delhi.

At 10:30 am, President Draupadi Murmu hoisted the national flag on the Kartavya Path. With this, the 90-minute grand parade began. This year, President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto attended the ceremony as the chief guest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi were also present on this historic occasion.

Display of cultural heritage and development

The parade began with 300 artists from across the country playing the tune of "Saare Jahan Se Achcha" on traditional musical instruments. After this, more than 5,000 artists demonstrated India's cultural heritage and development journey. The theme of this year's Republic Day parade has been kept as "Golden India - Heritage and Development".

31 tableaux participated in the parade, which included tableaux from 16 states and union territories as well as 15 ministries of the central government. The highlight of the parade was the fly-past of the Indian Air Force, in which various aircraft performed amazing stunts.
