Lok Sabha Election: More than 26 parties who have come together on one platform to take on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, are meeting in Mumbai from Wednesday. This two-day meeting of India Alliance will be held at Hyatt Hotel in Mumbai. The meeting is in Mumbai, hence its joint responsibility has been taken up by the three parties included in Mahavikas Aghadi, Congress, NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) and Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction). Before the meeting, leaders of the three parties held a joint press conference on Wednesday. Leaders like Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray, Ashok Chavan, Nana Patole and Sanjay Raut were present in it. In this press conference, the trailer of the third meeting was revealed through the statements of the leaders of the three parties.

In this press conference no one told what would happen in the meeting. This will be formally known only on Thursday but sources have revealed that the logo of INDIA alliance will be finalized in the meeting. To ensure that the alliance works well, there will be discussions on the coordination committee.

The outline of an office for election management of the alliance will be discussed in the meeting. 5 to 10 spokespersons of the alliance will be made, talks will be held regarding this. Discussions are also expected to be held on forming the alliance's media and social media team. A committee will be formed to decide the national agenda. There is a possibility of serious consideration on this. Apart from this, issues for the campaign can be discussed.

They discussed before the meeting

A day before the meeting, BSP chief Mayawati put a full stop to the news of joining the India Alliance. Mayawati completely rejected the discussions of BSP joining the India Alliance. Mayawati posted four posts one after the other on the social media platform X.

Mayawati cleared that she will not join any alliance for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. She also announced to contest the assembly elections of four states Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Telangana alone. Mayawati called both NDA and INDIA as anti-poor, casteist, communal and capitalist. He wrote, the question of alliance with such parties does not arise.

Leaders of different parties of the opposition started making open statements about Mera PM candidate, Tera PM candidate, due to which the word PM candidate kept resonating in the political corridors from Delhi to Mumbai.

This rhetoric has put a big question mark on the internal coordination of the opposition, then there is a competition to become the face of the Alliance first. Every party wants their leader to become the Prime Minister. Leaders of Aam Aadmi Party also want that our national convenor should become the prime minister, but as far as who will be the prime ministerial candidate of INDIA alliance, they all will decide together.
