Rajasthan Politics: Recently, important changes have been made in the administrative structure in Rajasthan. 108 IAS officers have been transferred and 20 officers have been given additional charge. In this sequence, Shubhra Singh has been appointed as the Chairman of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation. Shreya Guha has been made Additional Chief Secretary, Rural Development Department, Jaipur, while Bhaskar Atmaram has been given the responsibility of Principal Secretary, Public Health Engineering and Ground Water Department, Jaipur. In the list of transfer of officers, Gayatri A Rathore has been made Principal Secretary, Medical, Health and Family Welfare and Panchayati Raj Department. Vaibhav Galaria has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department and T Ravikant has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of Mines and Petroleum Department. Subir Kumar has been made the Principal Secretary of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department and Bhawani Singh Detha has been appointed as the member of Ajmer Revenue Board. Vikas Sitaramji has been appointed as the Chairman of Rajasthan Civil Services Appellate Tribunal.Also, Manju Rajpal has been appointed as the Administrative Secretary and Registrar of Cooperative Development, Naveen Jain as the Administrative Secretary of Finance Department, Krishna Kant Pathak as the Administrative Secretary of Personnel Department. Bhinu Prakash Eturu has been appointed as the Administrative Secretary of Tribal Area Development Department and Neeraj Kumar Pawan as the Administrative Secretary of Youth Affairs and Sports Department. Ravi Jain has been appointed as the Administrative Secretary of Tourism, Art, Literature Culture and Archaeology Department and Director General Jawahar Kala Kendra. Sumit Sharma has been appointed as the Administrative Secretary of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Cow Breeding Department and Ravi Kumar Surpur as the Administrative Secretary of Finance (Revenue) Department. Overall, this administrative reshuffle intends to give a new direction to the proceedings in Rajasthan.
