Let us tell you that climate conference is currently going on in UAE. Many leaders from all over the world have arrived to participate in this conference. PM Modi had also come to participate in it. In the COP28 summit, PM Modi called upon all countries to think about the environment. Talked about reduction in carbon emissions. On the sidelines of the summit, Prime Minister Modi met many global leaders and held bilateral meetings with them.

What did Prime Minister Modi say at COP28?

At the COP28 summit, PM Modi said that everyone should think about the environment. We should think about it the same way we think about our health card. PM Modi called upon all countries to work together to drastically reduce global emissions. PM Modi said that India's emissions are very less compared to other countries. Our target is to reduce carbon emissions by 45 percent by 2030.

PM Modi met many global leaders

Modi held bilateral meetings with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Jordan's King Abdullah II, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. Apart from this, PM Modi met Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni, British Foreign Minister David Cameron, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Turkish President RT Erdoğan, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Christerson and Maldives President Mohammed Also met many leaders including Muizzu.
