Lok Sabha Election: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi had reached Morena in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. Where, while addressing a rally, Priyanka Gandhi became emotional remembering her father Rajiv Gandhi. Priyanka Gandhi said that her father had inherited not wealth but the spirit of martyrdom. No one can remove this feeling of martyrdom from our hearts. Today efforts are being made to suppress the opposition.

Priyanka said, when she brought the pieces of her father, she was angry with this country. I sent my father to you safely and you returned him in pieces, but gradually I understood the meaning of martyrdom. I know what martyrdom means. When they stand on the stage and accuse my father that my father changed some law to take the inheritance from him. My father inherited not wealth but the spirit of martyrdom. You can understand this feeling because you have sent your sons to the border.

‘Attempts are being made to suppress the voice of the opposition’

Attacking BJP, Priyanka Gandhi said that they can call us traitors, throw us out of the house, throw us out of Parliament, do anything, but no one can remove this feeling from our hearts. Today, efforts are being made to suppress the voice of the opposition but we keep raising our voice, we are not afraid.

The lands of the poor were taken away – Priyanka

The Congress leader said that this is the land of heroes. You have sent your young sons to the army to protect the country. Therefore this land will always remain sacred for us. Indira Gandhi ji gave land leases to the poor. That leasing scheme was stopped. In Korba, Chhattisgarh, the government took people's land, mines were taken away and given to billionaires. Today people there do not have employment.
