Government will pay premium of 415 crores annually

CM Ashok Gehlot has announced to get free insurance for those earning up to eight lakhs under the Chiranjeevi scheme. Gehlot said that now people with income up to eight lakh will not have to pay a premium of Rs 850 under the Chiranjeevi Yojana, their premium will now be paid by the government. The government will bear the premium of Rs 425 crore annually. Till now the BPL families included in the food security scheme were getting free insurance under the Chiranjeevi scheme. Now every category of people with income up to eight lakhs will have free insurance.

Doctors of RSS-BJP background should not instigate for strike

Gehlot said- I say only one thing to the doctors, you are God, just take care of one thing, just don't go on strike. Do anything other than the strike, picket the CM house, tie a black band, we will understand.

Your black belt will be more effective for me than the strike. You will have to take responsibility for the problems caused by the strike to the patients. RSS, BJP have their place. I want to appeal to the doctors of RSS-BJP background that you should not do the work of instigating, there you should remain in the form of God.

Gehlot said – You take the responsibility that there is no strike, leave everything else on me, whether it is a matter of salary or grade pay. No state is providing as many facilities as my government is providing. Private sector doctors had a misconception regarding the Right to Health Bill.
