Opposition Meeting: Political parties have started making strategies for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Now there is less than a year left in this election, in such a situation no one wants to leave any stone unturned. Today, an important step is being taken by the opposition in this regard. A general meeting of the opposition, led by the Congress, is to be held in Bengaluru today. A total of 26 political parties will participate in this, where a strategy will be chalked out to surround the BJP.

According to the report, the Congress is leading this two-day opposition meeting in Bengaluru. An invitation was sent by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to all the opposition leaders to attend it. In this meeting, there will be a brainstorm on the common minimum program of the common opposition and further strategy.

Sharad Pawar will not participate in the meeting today

A big update also came before this meeting to be held on Monday. Sharad Pawar of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will not be able to participate in this meeting today, his party gave this information. However, due to which reasons Sharad Pawar is not coming to the meeting, it is not yet clear. Let us tell you that a few days ago, his party got divided and nephew Ajit Pawar rebelled. However, Pawar will reach Bengaluru tomorrow i.e. on July 18 with daughter Supriya Sule.

On which topics will there be brainstorming?

The biggest churning of the opposition is to field a common candidate on the Lok Sabha seats, efforts are being made to adopt this formula in most of the Lok Sabha seats. There will be a joint dinner of the opposition parties on Monday, apart from this, a committee may be formed in this meeting which will go ahead and work on the Common Minimum Programme. Apart from these, an agenda will be prepared regarding joint rally, program and other meetings.

The opposition, which was defeated by the BJP in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, is now moving forward in 2024 by checking every step. This is the reason why the Congress is trying to bring more and more parties together. Let us inform that the first such joint meeting of the opposition was held in Patna on June 23, which was headed by Nitish Kumar. Then 15 parties participated in this meeting, while the Congress is leading the second meeting and 26 parties are participating here.

AAP-Congress came together just before the meeting

An important development regarding this meeting is the coming together of the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP had already made its intentions clear that if the Congress supports it on the ordinance related to Delhi, then only it will come to this meeting. Now the Congress has openly opposed the Center on the ordinance related to Delhi, in such a situation AAP has also made it clear that it will attend the meeting.

Let us inform that Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, TMC's Mamata Banerjee, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal besides Uddhav Thackeray and others will be present in this meeting to be held in Bengaluru. Lalu Yadav may join. Apart from these, heads and representatives of many other political parties can participate in the meeting.

NDA also meeting with the opposition

On one hand, on July 17-18, the opposition is going to churn in Bengaluru, while on July 18, the ruling party ie NDA is also going to hold a meeting. BJP President JP Nadda has invited all NDA colleagues for the meeting to be held in Delhi, which will be headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. Many parties are returning to the NDA, in which leaders like Jitan Ram Manjhi, Omprakash Rajbhar, Chirag Paswan are also returning.
