Entertainment / Punjabi singer Diljaan passes away in a car accident

Amritsar: On Tuesday morning the Punjabi music industry lost one of the young stars, as singer Diljaan breathed his last at the age of 31. The artist passed away in a road accident in Jandiala Guru near Amritsar.

According to the reports, Diljaan was on his way to Kartarpur from Amritsar when his car collided with a truck parked on the roadside. Though he was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital, he couldn’t survive. The doctors confirmed his demise as soon as he was brought inside the facility.

Reportedly, when the late singers’ car collided with a truck, which was parked on the side of Amritsar-Jalandhar GT Road, he passed away on the spot. Further, on one hand, where the police are investigating the accident and Diljaan’s body has been sent for postmortem, on the other hand, reports are doing the rounds that the car was in a very high speed leading to the crash.

Meanwhile, the whole Punjabi industry is mourning the demise of the singer.
