Amount of Rs one lakh

The winner of this award will be given an amount of Rs one lakh and a statuette created by renowned artist and filmmaker Nemam Pushparaj. A statement issued here said that Rahul Gandhi is a national leader who listened to the problems of the people and found solutions to them through the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra'. The statement said that an expert jury headed by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor selected the award winner.

Bharat Jodo Yatra

Rahul Gandhi did the Bharat Jodo Yatra from September 2022 to January 2023. He started this journey in September 2022 and concluded it in Kashmir in January 2023. This 150-day journey passed through 12 states and two union territories. Covering a total distance of 3570 km, this journey ended in Srinagar.

Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra

Encouraged by the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi started the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Manipur on 14 January 2024. The historic journey of about 6,600 km ended in Mumbai. During this, the journey passed through 110 districts of 15 states. Rahul Gandhi held 15 public meetings and addressed the public at 70 places. This journey of Rahul passed through 100 Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies and 337 assembly constituencies.
