Lok Sabha Elections: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has claimed that he rebelled against Shiv Sena because Uddhav Thackeray had abandoned the ideology of Bal Thackeray. He also said that Uddhav Thackeray had started considering us as domestic helps. Addressing a meeting of Shiv Sena workers in Ramtek, Nagpur, CM Shinde said that he did not want to become the Chief Minister but seeing Bal Thackeray's ideology being compromised, he had to rebel.In the meeting, Chief Minister Shinde spoke openly about the rebellion by Shiv Sena. Taking a dig at Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, he said that Balasaheb Thackeray treated us, the party people, as friends but Uddhav was not like that, he started considering us as servants of the house. Shinde accused Uddhav of deviating from the ideology of Balasaheb, the founder of Shiv Sena. He said that seeing Bal Thackeray's ideology being compromised, he rebelled against the party.‘The son of a king will not become a king, only the one who works will become the king’CM Eknath Shinde said that despite being the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, he works as a worker. He said that there is no servant or any master in his party. Rather, everyone is working with each other. He said that in his party it is not that only the king's son will become the king, but only the one who works will become the king.‘Vote in favor of NDA, make Modi Prime Minister’Further, CM Shinde said that a party moves forward when the leaders reach out to the grassroots level workers instead of sitting at home. In the meeting, he appealed to PM Narendra Modi to hand over the command of the country for the third time. He urged people to vote in favor of the ruling alliance to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister once again. Along with this, Shinde targeted the opposition alliance Mahavikas Aghadi and said that the opposition has no agenda for development.Revolted from Shiv Sena and joined NDAIt is noteworthy that Eknath Shinde had rebelled against Shiv Sena and decided to join NDA and formed the government in Maharashtra. Shiv Sena got divided into two factions, one faction was formed of Uddhav and the other faction was formed of Shinde.Let us tell you that voting for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in seven phases will start from April 19. Talking about Maharashtra, voting is to be held in five phases for 48 Lok Sabha seats in the state. In the first phase on April 19, voting will be held on the seats of Ramtek, Nagpur, Bhandara-Gondia, Gadchiroli-Chimur and Chandrapur.
