Bhajanlal government of Rajasthan presented its second full budget on Wednesday. Finance Minister Diya Kumari announced 1.25 lakh government jobs for the youth, 150 units of free electricity and Chief Minister Jal Jeevan Mission Urban in the budget. Rajasthan Budget: Bhajanlal government of Rajasthan presented its second full budget on Wednesday. Finance Minister Diya Kumari presented this budget in the assembly, in which many important announcements were made. 10 major announcements of the budget

1.25 lakh government jobs for youth

The government has announced recruitment to 1.25 lakh government posts, which will provide employment opportunities to the youth of the state. Apart from this, a plan has been made to employ 1.50 lakh youth in the private sector as well. Employment fairs will also be organized.

150 units of free electricity

It has been announced to provide up to 150 units of free electricity to the people of the state every month. It will be linked to the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme of the Central Government. 50 thousand agricultural and 5 lakh domestic connections will be given by next year.

Mukhyamantri Jal Jeevan Mission Urban

Rs 425 crore has been allocated to increase drinking water facilities in rural areas. 1000 new tube wells will be installed and water connections will be given to 2 lakh houses.

Religious travel scheme for senior citizens

The government will send senior citizens on religious travel. 50,000 passengers will be taken on pilgrimage by train and 6,000 passengers by plane.

Honorarium of priests increased

The monthly honorarium of temple priests has been increased to Rs 7500. Earlier this amount was Rs 5000.

Skill development and employment fund

Vivekananda Employment Fund will be set up at a cost of Rs 500 crore to provide employment opportunities to the youth through skill development.

Mahakosh and health facilities

The government has announced a Mahakosh of Rs 3500 crore. Under this, free medicines and treatment facilities will be provided under the Ayushman scheme.

Tourism will get a boost

A budget of Rs 975 crore has been kept to promote tourism in the state, which will improve the tourism related facilities in Rajasthan.

Rs 5000 crore for roads and bridges

A fund of Rs 5000 crore has been allocated for the construction and repair of roads and bridges in the state. Rs 250 crore has been given to improve the traffic system in Jaipur.

Green Field Expressways and Rural Roads

9 green field expressways of more than 2750 km length will be built in the state. Atal Pragati Path will be developed from cement concrete in more than 5000 rural towns.
