Haryana Politics: After the formation of the new Haryana government, the division of departments in the cabinet has been done, but in this division, an unexpected game has happened with former Home Minister Anil Vij. Vij, who was considered a strong contender for the post of Chief Minister, was not only deprived of this post but he also did not get his old Home Ministry. Instead, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has kept the Home Ministry with himself, while Vij has been entrusted with the Ministry of Transport, Labor and Energy.

Anil Vij, who was the Home Minister in the government of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, recently openly expressed his ambition of becoming the Chief Minister. After Khattar's resignation, Vij had expressed hope of becoming the Chief Minister on the basis of seniority, but the party high command decided to make Naib Singh Saini the Chief Minister, which angered Vij. Vij did not even attend the Legislature Party meeting and left the Home Ministry expressing displeasure.

Vij's displeasure is nothing new. He has made his desire to become the Chief Minister public many times. Even before the elections, when he was questioned on this, he had said that he is the most senior in the party and if the high command wants, the next meeting will be held at the Chief Minister's residence. However, the BJP high command dashed his hopes and handed over the responsibility of Chief Minister to Saini again.

The results of Haryana elections came on October 8 and BJP got a historic victory in the state. The party returned to power for the third time in a row in the state, which was its big victory. BJP won 48 seats, forming a full majority government in the state for the first time. After this, in the meeting of the legislature party, Naib Singh Saini was unanimously elected as the leader of the legislature party and he was given the chair of Chief Minister.

This "game" with Vij has brought a new twist in the politics of the state. Although he has been given the responsibility of three important departments, snatching the Home Ministry from him is being considered a direct blow to his political ambitions.
