Asaram Bapu News: Asaram, who is serving sentence in Jodhpur Central Jail on charges of sexual abuse, has got seven days parole from the court. Asaram has been granted parole for treatment by the Rajasthan High Court. Asaram has been granted parole considering his health condition for which he had applied a lot. Asaram will go to Maharashtra for treatment in police custody. He will be treated in Maharashtra. The High Court bench of Justice Dr. Pushpendra Singh Bhati has approved the interim parole.Recently, the health of Asaram, who is serving sentence in Jodhpur Central Jail, deteriorated once again. Asaram was admitted to Jodhpur AIIMS after complaining of chest pain. After doing Asaram's medical checkup there, he was admitted for treatment. As soon as the news of Asaram's ill health was received, his supporters gathered around the hospital, after which police was deployed there in large numbers.Complaint of chest painAccording to the information, Asaram had chest pain on Friday evening. After that he was immediately taken to AIIMS hospital. Necessary medical tests were done there after which he was admitted to the hospital. Asaram's heart was treated with Ayurvedic method in the month of April in a private hospital in Jodhpur under the supervision of doctors of Madhavbagh Hospital of Pune. Now again Asaram was brought to AIIMS hospital on the complaint of chest pain. He was complaining of chest pain for a long time.Guilty of raping a minorAsaram, who calls himself a saint, was accused of raping a minor in which he was found guilty. The victim had accused Asaram that in the year 2013 he raped her in his Jodhpur ashram. She was a minor at that time. She was just 16 years old. Asaram is serving life imprisonment in this case. Asaram has already served 11 years of sentence in this case. Asaram Bapu was arrested on 31 August 2013, after which he tried several times to get out of jail and get bail but he failed.14 sections, 1012 pages charge sheetAsaram was born on 17 April 1941. He is 83 years old now. Using his age as a weapon, he requested bail from the courts, filed several applications but it was of no use. Since his arrest, he has not got even a single day's bail or parole, he is coming out of jail for the first time. Asaram has been tried under 14 legal sections. 14 strict sections of the Indian Penal Code were completely included in the 1012 pages charge sheet on the basis of which the rape accused Baba was sent behind the bars of the jail.On what conditions will Asaram come out?The court has granted parole to Asaram but has also imposed some conditions along with it. Asaram can get treatment in Khopoli Madhav Bagh Maharashtra hospital in police custody, but Asaram will have to bear all the police expenses. But the Supreme Court refused to consider the petition.Asaram had sought relief from the Supreme Court citing poor health. The Supreme Court had said that the Rajasthan High Court should expeditiously hear Asaram's petition against the life sentence given by the lower court. Along with this, the Supreme Court had also said that he should apply to the Rajasthan High Court for relief regarding treatment.Earlier in September 2023 also, the Supreme Court had refused to grant bail to Asaram. After the bail plea was rejected by the Rajasthan High Court, Asaram's lawyers had applied in the Supreme Court. The Rajasthan High Court had refused to grant bail to Asaram in the year 2022. Asaram is about 81 years old and he is suffering from many serious diseases.
