Recently, the Education Minister also declared against teaching Akbar's sagas in schools, which can further fuel historical controversies.

'Earlier also the colour of the bicycle was saffron, later...'

The Education Minister further said that before the tenure of the Congress government, when there was a BJP government in Rajasthan... even then the colour of the bicycle was saffron. Congress had changed it to black. He said that the purpose of this initiative is to facilitate education to girls studying in government schools through free bicycles.

Saffron colour symbolises valour, bravery

Recently the state's education minister had made this big announcement
