Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha: Congress MLA Mukesh Bhakar has been suspended from the remaining proceedings of the budget session of the assembly. Bhakar is accused of misbehaving by making inappropriate gestures towards Speaker Vasudev Devnani during the uproar in the House on Monday. After the suspension, when the marshals were called to take MLA Bhakar out, the Congress MLAs surrounded him. After this, there was a scuffle between the marshals and the Congress MLAs. After this, the proceedings of the house were adjourned till 11 am on Tuesday. The opposition MLAs sat on a dharna in the house itself.

Senior MLA Harimohan Sharma fell on the ground in the scuffle between the marshals and the Congress MLAs in the assembly. Many other MLAs also fell. MLA Anita Jatav's bangles broke in the scuffle with the marshals.

MLAs injured in the scuffle got treatment at the dispensary

Chief Whip proposed suspension of Bhakar

Earlier, Government Chief Whip Jogeshwar Garg presented a proposal for suspension of Bhakar, which was passed. As soon as the proposal was passed, the Speaker ordered the Marshall to remove Mukesh Bhakar from the House.

After this, the proceedings of the House were adjourned for half an hour till 3:29 pm. At 3:30 pm, the proceedings were again adjourned for half an hour. Congress MLA Mukesh Bhakar is accused of insulting the Speaker during the uproar. On this, the Speaker was the first to raise the question and asked to bring a proposal. The Speaker said that whether the House runs or not, but this kind of behavior will not be tolerated.

Gehlot said - the result of BJP's dictatorship

Former CM Ashok Gehlot has targeted BJP regarding the incident in the Assembly. Gehlot wrote on X - First suspension and forced expulsion of Congress MLA Mukesh Bhakar in the Assembly. Then I strongly condemn the marshals for throwing senior MLA Harimohan Sharma on the ground and misbehaving with female MLA Anita Jatav and even breaking her bangles. This is the result of the dictatorial thinking of the state's BJP government, due to which such misbehavior was done with the elected public representatives.

Uproar over making minister's son a government lawyer

There was a lot of ruckus in the assembly after the lunch break today. There was a heated argument between Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie and the Speaker. Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie said that the Indian Judicial Code has come into force from July 1, but the government has appointed more than 12 government lawyers under the CrPC. This is a violation of the Constitution. There should be a discussion on this in the House. The minister's son has also been made a government lawyer.

Speaker Vasudev Devnani refused to give further permission to the Leader of Opposition on this issue. Said - First give it in writing, under which rule do you want to discuss this. In this matter, the Leader of Opposition had a heated argument with the Speaker. After this, the angry Congress MLAs came to the well and started sloganeering. The speaker said- Come within the rules, I will make arrangements tomorrow. Ministers responded to the attention motions amidst the uproar of Congress MLAs. Meanwhile, Congress MLA Mukesh Bhakar pointed towards the speaker. After which the uproar increased.

Food tiffins have come from Sardarshahar MLA Anil Sharma's house for the Congress MLAs protesting in the assembly. Anil Sharma is the son of late Bhanwarlal Sharma. Langar is still organized daily at his house for the people of the area.
