Parliament Winter Session: This time in the winter session of the Lok Sabha, a deep discussion has been started on the Constitution, which will last for two days. This discussion was started by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who put the importance of the Constitution and its history before the House. Rajnath Singh said that the Indian Constitution was adopted on 26 November 1949, and congratulated all the citizens on this occasion. He described the adoption of the Constitution as an important achievement of 75 years and presented it not only as a legal document but also as a strong basis for nation building.

Rajnath Singh underlined the impact of the Constitution on social, economic, political and cultural life and said that this Constitution is a reflection of the aspirations of the people of India. According to him, this Constitution is a guide towards nation building and provides the power to connect India together.

This debate on the Constitution will continue till Saturday, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give his answers on Saturday. 12 to 15 leaders will participate in this discussion from the BJP side. At the same time, senior leaders of the opposition party Congress, Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and other leaders will put forth their views on the Constitution. The importance of this discussion increases in this context as it is a good opportunity to spread awareness among the general public about the Constitution.

Comment on the 'hijack' of the Constitution

Rajnath Singh also said in his speech that for some years, an atmosphere has been created in the country in which the Constitution has been linked to a particular class. He also alleged that the role of many great people in the making of the Constitution was deliberately denied. He also said that some special parties have tried to 'hijack' the making of the Constitution. He said that the Constitution is the nectar derived from the freedom struggle, and it belongs to all Indians.

Rajnath Singh also clarified that his government has accepted the Constitution with full loyalty and dedication and has taken decisions keeping in mind its values. Referring to the leadership ability of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that his government is working in the spirit of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas', which is in line with the basic spirit of the Constitution.

Representation of Congress

On behalf of the Congress, a time of 2 hours and 20 minutes has been fixed in this discussion, in which senior party leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will participate. This will be Priyanka Gandhi's first speech in Parliament, which will make this debate even more interesting. Congress has directed all the MPs of the party to be present in the House on both days, so that they have full participation in this discussion.

On behalf of the Congress, opposition leader in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge will start the debate on the Constitution, and the party has issued a whip to its MPs on Constitution Day.
