Rajasthan Elections: The ruckus that broke out before deciding the ticket in Rajasthan has not ended yet. However, after the strict attitude of the high command, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is trying to resolve the matter by coming out clean. After the meeting of the Central Election Committee (CEC), Gehlot remained camping in Delhi for two days. Meanwhile, he met separately with party president Mallikarjun Kharge, screening committee chairman Gaurav Gogoi and treasurer Ajay Maken. If sources are to be believed, the leaders with whom Gehlot presented his stand will finalize the process of ticket distribution after discussing with the Gandhi family. Well, one interesting aspect is that at least in front of the high command, there is no difference of opinion between Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot regarding the sitting-gating formula. After all, both of them do not want to get the tickets of MLAs of their camp cut off by raising questions, hence due to the survey of political strategist Sunil Konugolu, the high command had to take charge of ticket distribution. Now we are waiting to see when the party, which has announced 229 out of 230 tickets for Madhya Pradesh, brings out the first list for Rajasthan and how many tickets are cut.Gehlot said 5 important things while presenting his sideThe high command may decide on the ticket, but their aim is to form the party's government in Rajasthan.According to the survey, cutting 50 percent of the tickets will give rise to many rebel candidates who will help the party lose its seats.Special care should be taken that even if an independent candidate contests if the ticket is cut, the party candidate should still be in a position to win. Tickets were canceled in the same situation. If it is a matter of touch and go in forming the government after the elections, then cutting more tickets will make the MLAs hesitant in supporting us in future.Instead of 50 percent, as per the strategy, only those tickets should be issued where it is necessary and victory is assured.Congress has not yet announced any candidate for the Rajasthan Assembly elections, as there are reports of conflict within the party and between the central leadership. In fact, objection has been raised to the pressure of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to field all his current ministers and loyalists like Shanti Kumar Dhariwal, Mahesh Joshi. The party high command is angry with these leaders and had also issued a show cause notice last year on the Gehlot and Sachin Pilot controversy.
