The BJP high command has told them to first clear the resentment in their party regarding this matter. On the other hand, Ajit Pawar and Praful Patel said that their party was being given the post of Minister of State, but they were demanding Cabinet Minister. They are ready to wait for the post of Cabinet Minister and are going to the swearing-in ceremony.

Let us tell you that there are two MPs from NCP. Senior party leader Praful Patel is an MP in Rajya Sabha, while Sunil Tatkare has been elected from Lok Sabha. Sources said that both these leaders have claimed each other for the ministerial post. But who among the two will be the minister? Consensus could not be reached in this regard. Sources said that this is the reason why NCP did not respond to the call.

We should also get a ministerial post: Ajit Pawar

The rift has started coming to the fore even before the swearing-in ceremony, NCP leader Ajit Pawar claimed in a press conference that we should also have got a cabinet minister post like Shiv Sena. Earlier, Praful Patel had also said that he was offered the post of Minister of State, but he has been a cabinet minister, so he refused. According to Praful Patel, he has been asked to wait for some time.

On the other hand, Ajit Pawar also confirmed Praful Patel's words and said that his party was being given the state minister post, but Praful Patel has been a cabinet minister earlier. He currently has one Lok Sabha and one Rajya Sabha MP and soon there will be two more Rajya Sabha MPs. In such a situation, they have demanded a cabinet minister post. Ajit Pawar held a meeting

To resolve the ongoing dispute between Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare, NCP leaders held a meeting at Tatkare's residence in Delhi. NCP leaders Ajit Pawar, Sunil Tatkare, Praful Patel, Chhagan Bhujbal and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis were present in this meeting. A one and a half hour meeting was held at Sunil Tatkare's residence. In that meeting, there was a discussion on resolving the dispute between the two leaders. But no solution was found till the end. So after the one and a half hour meeting, Ajit Pawar, Devendra Fadnavis walked out of the meeting.

Instruction of BJP high command

Efforts are being made to give place to every party in the first swearing-in ceremony of Modi 3.0 cabinet, but due to the dispute not being resolved in the NCP, no NCP MP answered the call from the PMO. The BJP high command has told the NCP leaders that they should first resolve their differences.

Discussion on Bhujbal's name

There is a demand to give Chhagan Bhujbal a chance for the ministerial post instead of Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare. A faction of NCP has made this demand. Workers are saying that the party will benefit if Chhagan Bhujbal's OBC face becomes a minister.
