Asaduddin Owaisi: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar shared the stage with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Pune on Tuesday. Both the leaders were seen together at the Lokmanya Tilak National Award ceremony. Sharad Pawar has shared the stage with PM Modi at a time when the country's major opposition parties have come together to oust the BJP from power in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Pawar is on target for being seen with the PM. AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi attacked Pawar in a tweet and said what kind of hypocrisy he is.

Owaisi wrote, NCP and other opposition parties in the Lok Sabha are protesting on Manipur and Sharad Pawar is happily sharing the stage with PM Modi in Pune. What hypocrisy is this? On the other hand, the BJP is happily getting the bill passed in the House without any discussion. The award was instituted by the Tilak Smarak Mandir Trust in the year 1983 to honor the legacy of Lokmanya Tilak. This time PM Modi has got this award. PM Modi was honored with the award for his supreme leadership and for instilling a sense of patriotism among the citizens.

Not only Owaisi, Shiv Sena-Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) has also targeted Pawar. The party said that by not attending the event, Pawar could have cleared the doubts of those who did not like his participation in the event. The party said that the country is fighting against dictatorship and for this purpose 26 opposition parties have formed an alliance named India. Sharad Pawar is its important commander. Shiv Sena (UBT) said that people have different expectations from a leader like Pawar.

Pawar patted PM Modi's back
