PM Modi Gujarat Visit / PM Modi's new resolution from Gandhinagar, said- Ayodhya will become a 'model solar city'

PM Modi Gujarat Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with the beneficiaries of 'PM Surya Ghar: Free Electricity Scheme' in Gandhinagar and inaugurated the fourth edition of 'Global Renewable Energy Investor Meet and Exhibition' (RE-INVEST 2024). On this occasion, PM Modi made important announcements regarding the country's economic progress, especially in the solar energy sector, and highlighted India's future plans.

Resolve towards India becoming the third largest economy

In his speech, PM Modi pointed to the economic development of the country and said that 140 crore Indians together have resolved to make India the third largest economy in the world. He mentioned that in the first 100 days of the third term, the government has worked towards rapid development while facing the challenges of various sectors.

Steps towards making Ayodhya a model solar city

The Prime Minister made an important announcement regarding Ayodhya. He said that Ayodhya, being the birthplace of Lord Rama, is being developed as a 'model solar city'. PM Modi said, "The construction of the grand temple in Ayodhya has been completed and now work is going on to make Ayodhya a model solar city. Apart from this, we have identified 17 other cities of India, which will be developed as solar cities."

Indian solutions for global applications

Praising India's diversity, scale, capability, and performance, PM Modi said that India presents an ideal solution for global applications. He said that the whole world, not only Indians, but also the international community believes that India is the best bet of the 21st century.

Gujarat's leadership in renewable energy sector

On this occasion, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel praised the state's renewable energy policy. He said, "Under the leadership of PM Modi, Gujarat has emerged as a leading state in the renewable energy sector. The state's renewable energy policy and green hydrogen policy reflect our commitment to a green future. Gujarat has an installed capacity of renewable energy of more than 50,000 MW, and it contributes 54 percent to the total energy capacity of the state." He also pointed out that Gujarat is leading in the country in solar power installation.

Germany's welcoming spirit

German Economic Development Minister Svenja Schulze also welcomed PM Modi, which is an important step towards international cooperation in India's global energy initiatives.

PM Modi's visit to Gandhinagar and the announcements made by him mark the beginning of a new era in the Indian energy sector.
