Jaipur: While Rajasthan Congress leader Sachin Pilot is in New Delhi to meet the party leadership on demands that he says have remained unresolved months after he was promised a solution, the rift between the supporters of Pilot and CM Ashok Gehlot seems to be widening again.Congress MLA from Chaksu in Rajasthan's Dausa district, Ved Prakash Solanki said 'many officials' told him that the phones of legislators were being tapped. There are also efforts underway to "trap" MLAs, alleged Solanki.Solanki is considered to be close to Rajasthan Congress leader Sachin Pilot.Rajasthan BJP chief Satish Poonia has also launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot after Congress MLA VP Solanki alleged that phones of several legislators are being tapped in the state. "There was a similar situation a year back when former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot was dismissed. If an MLA suspects this, then it seems there's an undeclared emergency in the state. CM Gehlot and the home minister are responsible for it...Congress' internal conflict indicates a mid-term poll," ANI quoted Poonia as saying on Saturday. No infighting in Rajasthan Congress: Sachin PilotThere have been reports that Rajasthan Congress is witnessing infighting within the party again but Sachin Pilot has refuted any such allegation. Asked about BJP leader Rita Bahuguna Joshi's claim that "Sachin will soon join BJP", Congress leader Sachin Pilot told the media on Friday, "The BJP may have spoken to Sachin Tendulkar".The former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister has been pressing for his MLAs and supporters to be accommodated in the state's cabinet and party posts. So far, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has resisted it.Jitin Prasada moving to BJP has sparked speculations if more discontent Congress leaders will leave the party and reports of infighting aur adding fuel to such rumours.
