Lok Sabha Election: The issue of seat sharing between Congress and RJD in Bihar has finally been resolved. For the last several days, there was suspense regarding seat sharing between the two parties. But on Wednesday the seat sharing between the two parties became final. Consensus was reached on 8 seats for Congress in Bihar. However, according to the information, discussion is going on on one more seat. That means an agreement has been reached to give a total of 9 seats to the party.

The 8 seats of Bihar given in the Congress quota are as follows - Katihar, Kishanganj, Bhagalpur, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Bettiah, Patna Sahib and Sasaram. Apart from these seats, one more seat can be found in Shivhar or Maharajganj. With this, seats have been decided between the parties of India Alliance.

Congress did not get Purnia Lok Sabha seat

On the other hand, after the merger of Pappu Yadav's party Jan Adhikar Party with Congress, there was a tussle between Congress and RJD regarding Purnia. RJD did not want to give this seat to Congress, whereas Pappu Yadav was determined to contest elections on this seat. However, after the meeting held on Wednesday, it was decided to contest Bima Bharti, who left JDU, on Purnia seat. It was agreed to give RJD symbol to Bima Bharti.

Seats final between India alliance in Bihar

Now the seat sharing formula between the Indian alliance on 40 Lok Sabha seats of Bihar has been completely finalized. This formula has been decided between Congress, RJD and Left. In these, it has been agreed to give a total of 9 seats to Congress. A day earlier, former Deputy CM of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav had said that soon the seats will be finalized among the India alliance. He had denied any kind of dispute.
