Assembly Election 2024: As the Haryana Assembly elections approach, the political atmosphere is getting heated. Political parties have started deciding their strategies, and this time the world of wrestling is also witnessing a big intervention in politics. Recently, Indian wrestling veterans Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia joined the Congress, after which the political fervor in Haryana has increased further.

The joining of Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia in the Congress has not only brought new twists to the stage of politics, but has also created a stir in the world of wrestling. The most sharp counter-argument to this change has come from former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president and BJP leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Singh recently came in front of the media and reacted sharply to this change.

Singh said in his statement, "During the Mahabharata, the Pandavas had put Draupadi at stake. The country has not forgotten this incident till date. In the same way, the Hooda family has done politics by putting the honor of our sisters and daughters at stake. The future will not forgive this either." His allegations also included that there is a conspiracy behind the allegations against him, in which he considers himself innocent.

Singh further said that he has suffered a loss and the field of wrestling has also suffered. He also clarified that this is not a fight between a Jat and a Thakur, but a fight of a family. According to him, sports politics has become a big issue in Haryana, and this issue has also affected wrestling.

Congress has announced to make Vinesh Phogat a candidate from Julana and Bajrang Punia the working president of the All India Kisan Congress. This political move has given a new twist to Haryana politics and Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's sharp statements are also being seen as a result of this change.

Singh also attacked Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat, criticizing them for joining the Congress. He termed Bajrang Punia as "not the hero of Haryana, but the villain" and said that the Hooda family has tried to gain political advantage by putting their wives forward.

This politics of wrestling in the Haryana assembly elections has made it clear how deep the combination of sports and politics can be in the electoral environment. This time the voters of Haryana will decide who is the real hero of this politics and which direction will be right for the development of the state.
