After the Yogi government, now the Haryana government is also providing separate subsidy to the people of the state apart from the center. The government has given this information through its advertisement in the paper. The government is giving an additional subsidy of 50 thousand on a 2 kilowatt solar panel. The central government is giving a subsidy of 60 thousand rupees on it. That is, now the people of Haryana will get a direct subsidy of 1 lakh 10 thousand rupees.

How much will it cost?

If you buy a 2 kilowatt solar panel of a local company from the market, then it will cost you up to 40 thousand, but if you buy a solar panel of Tata or Adani company, then it will cost you up to 1 lakh rupees. The price of 2 kilowatt solar panel on Google is different according to different companies. If you get a solar panel installed by a good company, then you can take an average of 1 lakh rupees. On the other hand, if you come from the state of Haryana, then you will get a subsidy of 1 lakh 10 thousand rupees from the government. That is, you will not need to spend a single penny from home.

How to apply?

  • First of all register in the portal. After that choose your state. Select the electricity distribution company.
  • After that enter the electricity consumer number. Enter your mobile number and email. Follow the directions given in the portal.
  • Login with consumer number and mobile number. Apply for rooftop solar as per the form.
  • Wait for feasibility approval from the discom. Once you get the feasibility approval, get the plant installed from any registered vendor in your discom.
  • Once the installation is complete, submit the details of the plant and apply for net meter.
  • After the installation of the net meter and inspection by the discom, they will prepare the commissioning certificate from the portal.
  • Once you get the commissioning report. Submit your bank account details and a cancelled cheque through the portal. You will receive your subsidy in your bank account within 30 days. This subsidy will be the sum of the total subsidy provided by both the central and state governments.
