Raj: Despite the process of arrest of corrupt officials on the day of arrival in Rajasthan, the case of corruption is not taking its name to a standstill. The latest case is that of Pindo Barat Tehsil of Sirohi District, a strange game of a corrupt Tehsildar has come to the fore.In fact, the Tehsildar of Pindo tried to burn 20 lakh rupees on the stove in the kitchen by closing the door when the Anti Corruption Bureau officials were about to reach the Tehsildar. The Anti Corruption Bureau broke the door and arrested Tehsildar Kalpesh Kumar Jain with half-burnt notes.
According to the information, the Anti Corruption Bureau had received a complaint that the tehsildar, through one of his revenue inspectors, is demanding a bribe of Rs 1 lakh for the contract of Amla bark of Amla production. On receiving the information, the Anti Corruption Bureau sent a team from Pali and arrested Revenue Inspector Parbat Singh, taking a bribe of one lakh rupees.Parbat Singh said that he is taking this money for Tehsildar Kalpesh Kumar Jain. After this, along with the arrested revenue inspector Parbat Singh, the officer of the Anti Corruption Bureau reached the house of Tehsildar Kalpesh Kumar Jain.Meanwhile, the Tehsildar got the news. He closed the door and set the notes on fire. When the Anti Corruption Bureau saw smoke coming out of the house, broke the door and entered inside his house. Nearly 20 lakh rupees were burned more than half, in spite of this, the Anti Corruption Bureau has recovered the correct safe notes of one lakh 60 thousand rupees. The remaining properties are being investigated and questioned.
