Arvind Kejriwal News: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal is once again seen embroiled in controversies. The Haryana government has taken a tough stand on his statement of poisoning the Yamuna river. The Haryana government has filed a case against Kejriwal in the Sonipat court under the Disaster Management Act. After this, the Sonipat court has sent a summon to Kejriwal and ordered him to appear on February 17.The Haryana government says that Kejriwal's statement could have spread panic among the general public, and for this reason the Election Commission should ban his election campaign. In response, Kejriwal told the Election Commission that his statement was based on facts and he did not violate any law.Kejriwal's reply: The statement was based on factsAfter a complaint was made by the Election Commission, Arvind Kejriwal filed a detailed 14-page reply. In this, he clarified that his statement was completely based on facts and no wrong information was given in it. While clarifying on this issue, he claimed that his aim was only to express concern over the quality of Yamuna water.Rahul Gandhi's allegationMeanwhile, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reacted to Kejriwal's statement and said that lying has become Kejriwal's habit. He also said that in the last 10 years, Kejriwal's government did nothing to clean the Yamuna river. Rahul Gandhi challenged Kejriwal that if he has the courage, he should take a dip in the Yamuna river.Chief Minister Saini's reply: Aachman with Yamuna waterHaryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini responded to Kejriwal's allegations in a unique way. Saini on Wednesday visited 'Point Number-4' of Yamuna river near Dahisra village on the Delhi-Haryana border and drank Yamuna water there. Saini said that there is no poison in the Yamuna river, but this poison is filled in the minds of the opposition. Accusing Kejriwal, he said that his statement was completely based on lies and he should apologize for this.Kejriwal's response: The Chief Minister is pretendingAfter pictures of Saini sipping Yamuna water surfaced, Kejriwal called it a pretense. He tweeted that the Chief Minister kept the water in his mouth instead of drinking it and spat it back into the Yamuna. Kejriwal also said that if the Haryana government wants to file a case against him, it can do so, but the water that the Chief Minister himself could not drink, he will never let the citizens of Delhi drink it.Political conflict escalatesThis controversy is no longer limited to Yamuna water, but has turned into a political conflict. While on the one hand Kejriwal has justified his statement, on the other hand the Haryana government and the opposition have responded to it in their own way, considering it a part of electoral politics. With this, this matter is giving rise to a new controversial situation between the state governments.ConclusionThis dispute between Arvind Kejriwal and the Haryana government is not only based on the quality of Yamuna river water, but it is also presenting a new example of allegations and counter-allegations amid electoral politics. Now it remains to be seen what action the court and the Election Commission take in this matter and what its political implications are.
