According to the information, during the hearing in the court, the state government's Additional Advocate General Anil Mehta was asked by the High Court to withdraw the dismissal order of Soumya Gurjar in half an hour and issue a fresh order to her. In the subsequent hearing, the Additional Advocate General told the court that the government has decided to give a fresh notice to Soumya Gurjar.

In such a situation, the court heard both the sides and ruled to quash the order of dismissal of Soumya Gurjar. It is noteworthy that in the case of indecency with the then commissioner of Greater Corporation Yagya Mitra Dev Singh, the state government had banned Soumya Gurjar from contesting elections for 6 years while sacking him from the post of mayor.
