Lok Sabha Election: A meeting of the INDIA coalition of the opposition is to be held in Mumbai, Maharashtra and before that there is a stir regarding the post of convenor. When Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar refused to take the post of convenor, the name of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge came to the fore. But now it is known that there will be no decision on the post of convenor in this meeting to be held in Mumbai, instead a committee can be formed.According to sources, there is increasing tussle regarding the post of convenor in the India alliance and due to this the idea itself can be dropped. Instead of the post of convenor, a coordination committee of 11 people can be formed, which will take important decisions of the alliance. It is believed that Congress does not accept the leadership of anyone other than itself, so TMC and Aam Aadmi Party have opposed handing over the leadership of INDIA to Congress. This is the reason why there is a tussle going on for this post. Not only this, but earlier also the statements of Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav had come regarding the post of coordinator, which made it clear that everything is not going well in India.Rar continues for the post of coordinatorBefore the Lok Sabha elections 2024, many parties of the opposition have come together and formed the India Alliance. Two meetings of this group have been held, while the third meeting is to be held in Mumbai on 31 August and 1 September. India's logo and flag can be stamped in this meeting, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray), Maharashtra Congress and NCP are leading this meeting.Earlier it was believed that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar could be made the convenor of the India alliance, but his name was not approved in the beginning. After this, Lalu Prasad Yadav's statement came to the fore that there could be not one but many convenors in the India alliance. Since this period of rhetoric, there was a tussle going on in India regarding the post of convenor. There are about two dozen parties in the INDIA alliance, new parties may also join it in the upcoming meetings. So far, the seat sharing formula for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 has not been decided, although joint rallies can be started soon so that the message of opposition unity can be given across the country.
