According to the information, Bharatiya Janata Party will give him Rajya Sabha ticket from its quota. Let us tell you that Upendra Kushwaha is a part of NDA. He has also been a Union Minister in the Modi government in the past.

When Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary was asked about whether RLM President Upendra Kushwaha would be the NDA candidate for Rajya Sabha? On this, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that everyone in NDA has agreed that Upendra Kushwaha will be the candidate.

Upendra Kushwaha has also responded amid reports of being sent to Rajya Sabha. He said- "I am heartily thankful to the common people of Bihar and the hardworking workers of all the constituent parties of NDA including Rashtriya Lok Morcha, who maintained their affection towards me even in adverse circumstances, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar, Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Samrat Chaudhary and other leaders and workers of NDA for announcing my candidature on behalf of NDA for Rajya Sabha membership."

What was the result of the Lok Sabha elections?

Upendra Kushwaha contested from Karakat Lok Sabha seat. Rajaram Kushwaha of INDIA has reached Parliament by winning the election from this seat. Rajaram defeated independent candidate Pawan Singh by 105858 votes. At the same time, Upendra Kushwaha of Rashtriya Lok Morcha, an ally of BJP, stood third on this seat with 253876 votes.
