Ghaziabad / Vegetable seller murdered in Ghaziabad for dispute over jackfruit

Ghaziabad | In Morta village of Madhuban Bapudham police station area of ​​Ghaziabad, a young man beat the vegetable vendor to death with a stand of LED light on the cart after the jackfruit was allegedly spoiled. After the incident the accused fled from the spot. The injured vegetable vendor was rushed to the hospital by the family members, where he died during treatment. On the complaint of the son of the deceased, the police registered a case of culpable homicide and started the search for the accused.

Anil Kumar, 38, originally a resident of Hardoi, was living in village Morta of Madhuban Bapudham police station area for about 20 years. He used to make a living for the family by putting a vegetable cart in the village. On Thursday too, Anil had set up a vegetable cart. Late night Sandeep Tyagi of the village came to Anil to buy vegetables. He went home after buying jackfruit, when he went home and saw it, the jackfruit turned out to be bad.

Due to this, Sandeep again reached the cart and accused Anil of giving bad vegetables. Anil denied his allegation and asked to return the money by taking back the jackfruit. It is alleged that despite this, Sandeep's anger did not subside. He picked up the stand of LED light for illumination on the cart and started hitting Anil on the head.

Keeps attacking till unconscious

The relatives allege that Sandeep Tyagi kept attacking Anil's head with the stand of the LED till he fainted and fell on the ground. Thereafter the accused fled from the spot. On receiving information about the incident, the relatives reached the spot and admitted Anil to Kailash Hospital. Due to serious condition, he was shifted to ICU ward. On the information of the relatives, the police reached the hospital and inquired about the incident from the relatives.

died after nine hours

According to family members, vegetable vendor Anil Kumar was paralyzed. After the incident, his condition remained critical from the beginning. Anil succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning after battling for life and death in the hospital for nine hours. After the incident, there was chaos in the victim's family. The police sent the Panchnamabhar body for postmortem later in the afternoon. The family members have given a written complaint against Sandeep Tyagi alleging murder.

It is being told that at the time when Sandeep Tyagi was assaulting the vegetable vendor, a large number of people were present on the spot, but he remained a spectator. No one tried to save Anil. Police say that if people had shown courage, Anil's life could have been saved. However, after the accused absconded, the people present on the spot tried to garner false sympathy by going to Anil.

CO Kavinagar Avnish Kumar said that the vegetable vendor injured in the assault was admitted to the hospital, where he died during treatment. The body has been sent for postmortem. On the complaint of the deceased's son Nikhil, a case of culpable homicide has been registered against Sandeep Tyagi. Police is conducting raids to arrest the accused.
