Maharashtra Election 2024: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday reached Washim and Thane to campaign for the Maharashtra Assembly elections, where he launched a scathing attack on the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance. Yogi Adityanath termed the MVA as a 'clumsy alliance' and compared it to a vehicle without steering and wheels, which is directionless and unstable. He described the MVA as an alliance embroiled in power struggle and running on a divisive agenda. At the same time, Yogi emphasized the commitment of the BJP and said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the party is working to make India prosperous and united.

Yogi Adityanath's allegations on Maha Vikas Aghadi

Yogi Adityanath described the MVA as an alliance taking it backwards in the direction of development. Addressing the public, he said that the agenda of the Maha Vikas Aghadi is to keep it entangled in power struggle instead of taking Maharashtra forward. He said that the MVA is directionless and it is like a vehicle without steering and wheels, which is not capable of doing any beneficial work for the public.

JP Nadda targeted Congress

BJP National President JP Nadda also attacked the Congress on Wednesday. In a rally held in Shirdi as part of the Maharashtra election campaign, Nadda accused the Congress of being under the influence of 'urban Naxalites'. He said that the Congress has become a puppet in the hands of such forces which are trying to divide the country. Nadda accused the MVA of creating obstacles in development projects and emphasized the commitment of the Mahayuti to take forward the development projects.

Referring to the statement of senior Congress leader DK Suresh, JP Nadda said that Congress leaders belonging to South India are opposing the spending of tax money in North India. Describing this statement as provocative, he alleged that the Congress is working against the spirit of national unity and trying to break the country.

BJP claims - Mahayuti will make Maharashtra prosperous and united

Both Yogi Adityanath and JP Nadda emphasized the ideology of the BJP and the commitment of the Mahayuti. He claimed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, work will be done to take Maharashtra on the path of development and prosperity. BJP leaders tried to give the message that Mahayuti is serious about the future of Maharashtra, while MVA is directionless and desperate for power.

Conclusion

In this campaign of Maharashtra Assembly elections, BJP has attacked Mahavikas Aghadi and Congress and called them supporters of anti-national elements and a directionless alliance. Prominent leaders of BJP are trying to convince the voters of Maharashtra that only Mahayuti can take the state forward in the direction of stability and development.
