Delhi Liquor Scam: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has moved the High Court against the 9th summons of ED in the Delhi Liquor case. Judge hearing the case transferred

Meanwhile, Special Judge MK Nagpal, who was hearing the Delhi Excise Policy case in Rouse Avenue Court, has been transferred to Tis Hazari Court. Meanwhile, District Judge (Commercial) Kaveri Baweja has been transferred to Rouse Avenue court. Now Kaveri Baweja will hear the Delhi Excise Policy and other matters.

So many summons have been issued till now

This case will be heard by the division bench of the High Court. Please note that Kejriwal has challenged all the summons of ED in the court. The agency had sent the first summons to Kejriwal on 2 November 2023 but Kejriwal did not appear. After this, ED had sent summons on 21 November, 3 and 18 January, 2, 19 and 26 February, 4 March and 17 March. CM Kejriwal did not appear on any of the ED summons and accused the central government of misusing the agency. AAP and Delhi Chief Minister alleged that ED wants to arrest him.

Use of Rs 45 crore collected in elections

So far 6 chargesheets have been filed in the Delhi liquor scam case. In its sixth chargesheet, the ED had named AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and his aide Sarvesh Mishra. The agency had claimed that AAP had used Rs 45 crore collected under this policy in the Goa Assembly elections.

BJP attacked Kejriwal

Here, BJP attacked CM Kejriwal and said that the court has not imposed any stay on the action of ED and from this it has become clear that Kejriwal is prima facie an accused in the Delhi liquor scam case. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra further said that the Aam Aadmi Party should not consider the bail as a relief. Now CM Arvind Kejriwal is also out on bail, he has joined the league of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.
