Delhi Liquor Scam: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has challenged the bail granted to Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal by the lower court in the money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor scam. ED has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court to cancel Kejriwal's bail, which was to be heard today. However, now the hearing on ED's petition will be held in the High Court on July 15. The Delhi High Court has given time to ED to file a reply on Kejriwal's argument.

What did ED say in the court?

ED sought time to file a reply on Kejriwal's reply. ED said that it has received a copy of Kejriwal's reply late last night. Kejriwal's lawyer opposed this argument and said that he had handed over a copy of the reply to the investigating officer at 1 pm yesterday. Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, who appeared in the court on behalf of ED, said that Kejriwal's lawyers handed him a copy of his reply at 11 pm. He said that he wants to file a rejoinder of the reply.

Kejriwal's lawyer's argument?

At the same time, senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing for Arvind Kejriwal, challenged this claim and said that he had given a copy of the reply to the investigating officer at 1 pm yesterday. Singhvi said that there is a lot of urgency in the case and he is ready to give a counter reply and will argue the case without reply.
