Lok Sabha Election: The Election Commission has shown strictness on the Central Government. The Commission has today directed the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to immediately stop sending Vikas Bharat messages on WhatsApp. The Election Commission has immediately sought a compliance report from MeitY on this matter. The Election Commission had received many complaints in this regard. In response, MeitY had informed the Commission that although the letters were sent before the MCC was implemented, some of them may have been delivered to people with a delay due to systemic and network limitations.Messages were being sent in the name of 'Vikas Bharat Sampark'It is noteworthy that messages were being sent on people's WhatsApp by the government's IT Ministry under the name 'Vikas Bharat Sampark', in which a video was being broadcast with the name 'PM Modi's Guarantee'. Many complaints were made to the Election Commission regarding this, the BJP government is sending such messages to it after the announcement of the date of general elections. It was written in the message, "Hello, this message has been sent by the Vikas Bharat Sampark Kendra of the Government of India led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi."Big action was taken before thisEarlier, the Election Commission had removed the DGP of West Bengal along with the Home Secretary of 6 states.
