Election 2024: Amidst the Lok Sabha elections 2024, a statement by Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has put the Congress in trouble. Actually, a video of Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, Congress candidate from Baharampur, West Bengal, is going viral on social media. In this video, Adhir is allegedly seen saying that if Adani and Ambani send him money then he can consider stopping attacking them. Now, on the basis of this video, the Bharatiya Janata Party has launched a major attack on the Congress and accused the party of political extortion. Let us understand this whole matter.

BJP leader Amit Malviya has expressed strong objection to Adhir Ranjan's viral video. He shared Chaudhary's recent interview and wrote - "He exposed Congress and said that as soon as Adani-Ambani give money to Congress, they will stop attacking them." He said that Rahul Gandhi has already stopped attacking one of these. Malviya further said that this act of Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary of Congress is no less than political extortion.
