Delhi Liquor Scam: Former Delhi Deputy CM and Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia has been released from jail. Sisodia has come out of jail after about 17 months. The Supreme Court had granted him bail during the day itself. After this, after the bail related proceedings were completed, the Tihar Jail administration has released him. Sisodia, accused in the Delhi Excise case, was arrested by the CBI on 26 February 2023. After this, the ED arrested him on 9 March 2023 on charges of money laundering.

After coming out of jail, Sisodia said that I thank the Supreme Court from my heart. Ever since I have heard the court's order, every fiber of my being is indebted to Baba Saheb. The dictator had dreamed that the entire opposition would be put inside, this is the power of the Constitution. With the power of this Constitution, Arvind Kejriwal will also come out. The locks of the jail will break, Arvind Kejriwal will be released.

Sisodia will go to Rajghat tomorrow

Sisodia is going to meet Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal and his parents at his house. After this, Sisodia will go to Rajghat at 9.30 am on Saturday. At 10 am, he will reach Hanuman temple in Connaught Place and then at 11 am, he will meet and address the workers and leaders at the Aam Aadmi Party office.

Sanjay Singh had reached Tihar Jail

Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh had reached Tihar Jail to receive Sisodia. A large number of Aam Aadmi Party workers were also present outside the jail to get a glimpse of Sisodia. Everyone welcomed Sisodia with slogans of Zindabad. The former Deputy CM was also seen greeting the people from his car.

The party said - whatever was expected from the court has been fulfilled

After Sisodia got bail from the Supreme Court, the Aam Aadmi Party held a press conference. The party said that today the Supreme Court has granted bail to Manish Sisodia, the father of education revolution. Party leader Gopal Rai said that more bails have been granted by the Supreme Court, but the expectations that the people of Delhi had from the Supreme Court for 17 months have been fulfilled today.

At the same time, party leader Sanjay Singh said that Sisodia ji's bail is a slap on dictatorship, Hitlerism and the Modi government. ED and CBI did not find any evidence against Sisodia. The investigating agency conducted raid after raid but did not find any evidence. That is why the case was delayed.

Sanjay Singh said - The government wants to suppress the voice of the opposition

He said that the person who brought about the education revolution was put in jail. Satyendra Jain, who brought about a revolution in the health sector, was put in jail. When I used to ask questions, I was also put in jail. The government's intention was not to investigate but to suppress the voice of the opposition.

The Rajya Sabha MP said that I want to ask who will give the account of 17 months? When Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal got bail from the court, the ED went and got it stayed without a copy of the order. The government should at least stop this kind of politics now. You have no proof. The investigating agencies have not found a single rupee.
