Hathras Stampede: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is on a tour of Aligarh and Hathras today. In Pilkhana village of Aligarh, he met the families of the victims of the Hathras accident. After this he left for Hathras. Rahul Gandhi will meet the families of the victims in Vibhav Nagar here. Rahul will meet three victim families here. He will meet the families of Asha Devi, Munni Devi and Omvati. Four people from three families have died in the stampede. There are tight security arrangements for Rahul Gandhi's arrival. 121 people were killed in a stampede during a satsang ceremony in Hathras two days ago. Congress General Secretary Venugopal called it an unfortunate incident and said that Rahul Gandhi will talk to the affected people during his visit and share their pain.

Rahul Gandhi's program

According to the program, Rahul Gandhi will reach Pilkhana in Aligarh by road at 7 am today. Here he will meet the families of Manju wife Chhote Lal, Pankaj son Chhote Lal, Premvati and Shanti Devi wife Vijay Singh, who died in the accident.

After the meeting in Pilkhana, he will reach Green Park located in Navipur Khurd, Vibhav Nagar in Hathras at 8.40 am. Here Rahul Gandhi will meet the family members of Asha Devi wife Jugnu, Munni Devi wife Subhash Chand, Omvati wife Kishan Lal.

During this time he will also talk to the journalist. After this, he will leave for Delhi from Hathras at 9.15 am.

Judicial inquiry ordered

The Uttar Pradesh government has ordered a judicial inquiry into the Hathras incident. The police have lodged an FIR against the organizers of the satsang and accused them of hiding evidence and violating rules. Earlier on Thursday, state Congress president Ajay Rai held the state government responsible for the Hathras incident.

121 people died in Hathras accident

On Tuesday, 121 people were killed and many others were injured in a stampede at a satsang of a self-proclaimed saint in Hathras. This will be the first visit of a senior opposition leader to Hathras after the incident. Chief Minister Yogi visited Hathras on Wednesday and met the injured in the hospital.
