'INDIA' Alliance: On the one hand, the opposition parties are giving the message of unity by forming the INDIA alliance to corner the BJP-led NDA, while on the other hand, some of their leaders are trying to spoil everything with their controversial statements. It started with Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin's son Udhayanidhi and now senior RJD leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui has fueled a new controversy by giving a statement on women's reservation. BJP is busy capitalizing on both these issues.

Lalu Yadav's party Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui has made controversial remarks regarding women's reservation. She has said that women with lipstick and bob-cut hairstyle will come forward in the name of women's reservation law. Now a political uproar has arisen over this statement of Siddiqui. This statement of Siddiqui for BJP is no less than a self-goal for INDIA. BJP leader and Union Minister Kaushal Kishore has described Siddiqui's remarks as showing the small mentality of the RJD leader. He said that the women who are reaching Parliament or Assembly are all aware of the law and all of them also raise issues related to the public.

Before Siddiqui, Udhayanidhi, son of Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, had given a statement on Sanatan Dharma. He had said that it has to be ended and humanity has to be promoted. Just as we eliminate mosquitoes, dengue, malaria and corona, in the same way Sanatan should also be completely eliminated from the society. As soon as this statement of Udhayanidhi came out, BJP became an attacker on the INDIA alliance. Because MK Stalin's party is also a part of the opposition alliance. On the other hand, many leaders of INDIA alliance were also seen distancing themselves from Udhayanidhi's statement. At the same time, some tried to escape by calling it a personal statement of Udhayanidhi.

Opposition leaders' statements are an opportunity for BJP

Because of some loudmouth leaders of the opposition alliance, BJP is getting a chance to counterattack. BJP has strongly raised the issue of Sanatan, linked it to Hindutva and fielded an entire army of spokespersons. At the same time, the opposition alliance INDIA came on the back foot. Some leaders of the alliance considered the remarks personal while some also gave advice to Udhayanidhi. This can also be called an opportunity for BJP because BJP's politics seems to revolve around Sanatan and Hindutva and BJP also considers Hindutva as its core voter. In such a situation, Udhayanidhi's comment on Sanatan has become a big weapon for BJP.

BJP can create a big issue in five election states

Now Siddiqui has added fuel to the fire through his statement. Women's Reservation Bill which was brought by BJP and now it has also got the approval of the President. In such a situation, in the coming days BJP will be seen doing politics on the statement of RJD leader, there is no doubt about it. Assembly elections are also going to be held in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Mizoram. Three out of five states are counted among Hindi speaking states and Sanatan and Hindutva have been a big issue here since the beginning. In such a situation, now BJP is not going to step back in capitalizing on it.

RJD's Surendra Yadav found it difficult to oppose the bill.

The Women's Reservation Bill was introduced several times before, but it was never passed due to opposition. In 1998, Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government also brought the Women's Reservation Bill. Even at that time, this RJD was most discussed and Surendra Yadav was at its centre. When the bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha, RJD created a lot of ruckus and MP Surendra Yadav, opposing the bill, took the copy from the hands of LK Advani and tore it.

However, due to opposition this bill could not be passed at that time. On the other hand, Surendra Yadav also had to suffer the consequences of his actions. After this incident, Surendra Yadav could not reach Lok Sabha again. Even when he contested the elections, he had to face defeat. His politics is now limited to the Assembly only.
