Jharkhand Politics: Jharkhand CM Champai Soren has resigned from the post. After reaching the Raj Bhavan, he submitted his resignation to Governor CP Radhakrishnan. Along with this, Hemant Soren has also staked claim to form the government. JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) working president Hemant Soren will return as the CM of the state for the third time after the unanimous decision of the alliance MLAs. The leaders and MLAs of the alliance held a meeting at the residence of CM Champai Soren. It was decided unanimously to elect Hemant as the leader of the JMM legislature party.

In the meeting, it has been decided to make Hemant the CM in place of Champai Soren. Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, state president Rajesh Thakur as well as Hemant Soren's brother Basant and wife Kalpana were also present in the meeting. If Hemant takes oath as the Chief Minister, he will be the 13th Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

I have resigned from the decision of the alliance

After coming out of the Raj Bhavan, Champai Soren said, the alliance partners had given me the responsibility. Now the alliance has decided in favor of Hemant ji. I have resigned from the decision of the alliance. Our alliance is strong. Everyone knows what happened to Hemant Soren.

Hemant Soren was released from jail on June 28, about five months after his arrest, after getting bail from the High Court in the money laundering case related to the alleged land scam. Before his arrest, on January 31, Hemant had resigned from the post of Chief Minister. After the ED arrested Hemant Soren, his close aide Champai Soren was handed over the reins of the state. Champai was sworn in as the 12th Chief Minister of Jharkhand on February 2.

It is sad to remove tribal leader from the post of CM

After Champai Soren's resignation, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has attacked Hemant Soren. He said that it is very sad to remove a senior tribal leader from the post of Chief Minister by the JMM and Congress party in Jharkhand. I am confident that the people of Jharkhand will condemn this.

JMM has retaliated on this statement of CM Biswa. It has said, 'Do you remember Sarbananda Sonowal ji or have you forgotten? How even after winning the elections, you and your party humiliated him and removed him from the post of Chief Minister. Was it just because he was a tribal? And you? Why did you betray a tribal leader?'

'As for Champai Soren ji, don't worry about him. He is not called a tiger for nothing. When a tribal leader Hemant ji was put in jail by dictators in a false case, he discharged his duties well. Today when Hemant ji got justice from the High Court, he has come back with the unanimous consent of all the MLAs of INDIA to shoulder his responsibility of following the mandate of Jharkhandis'.
