Shivpal Yadav's hold is also very strong

The candidate was not fielded in front of Mulayam

Due to family differences in the year 2018, when Mulayam Singh Yadav's younger brother Shivpal Yadav formed Praspa and chose a new path of politics. Even after this, Shivpal Singh had categorically refused to field PSP candidate in front of Mulayam Singh Yadav in the 2019 elections. By doing this he had shown that for him the respect of the elder brother is first and the party later.

Will Akhilesh Yadav be able to help Shivpal?

Senior political analyst PN Dwivedi says that Mulayam's family has been occupying the Mainpuri seat for nearly two and a half decades. Maximum 3.5 lakh Yadav voters

According to the electoral data, Mainpuri (Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat) has the maximum number of 3.5 lakh Yadav voters. This is followed by one and a half lakh Thakurs, Brahmins, Jatavs and Shakya voters. At the same time, Muslim, Kurmi, Lodhi voters are about one lakh each.
