Veteran Gujjar leader of Rajasthan Kirori Singh Bainsla passed away on Wednesday night (March 30). It is being told that he was ill for a long time and was undergoing treatment in the hospital. Bainsla was so dominant in Rajasthan that at one of his gestures the entire state would come to a standstill. Under his leadership, Gujjars had made a big movement in Rajasthan during 2007.

Bainsla was also the head of Gurjar Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti

It is worth mentioning that Kirori Singh Bainsla was a big face of Gujjar movement in Rajasthan. However, he later joined the BJP. During 2007, there was a big movement under his leadership to get reservation for Gujjars in Rajasthan. Apart from this, Bainsla was also the head of Gurjar Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti.

Breathed his last in hospital in jaipur

According to the information, Bainsla was running ill for a long time. He breathed his last at Manipal Hospital on Wednesday night. Please tell that he had been hit by corona infection twice. Apart from this, during November last year, he had difficulty in breathing, due to which he was admitted to Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur.

Journey from soldier to colonel

Let us tell you that Bainsla was born in Mundiya village of Karauli district of Rajasthan. He belonged to the Gujjar community and started his career as a teacher. His father was in the army, due to which he also joined the army and became a soldier of Rajputana Rifles. He showed bravery in the Indo-China war during 1962 and Indo-Pakistan war of 1965. Bainsla was called by his seniors as 'the Rock of Gibraltar' and his juniors as 'Indian Rambo'. Bainsla, who started his journey in the army as a soldier, had risen to the rank of colonel.
