When there was an uproar, Radha Mohan Singh, sitting on the bench, said to remove it from the proceedings. Only after this the members calmed down. AIMIM chief and MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi took oath in Parliament on Tuesday. After taking oath, at around 15:11, Owaisi said 'Jai Bhim, Jai Mim, Jai Telangana, Jai Palestine ....' MP Shobha Karandlaje raised a question on this. After this, other members in Parliament also objected to saying Jai Palestine. Seeing the controversy growing, Radha Mohan Singh, sitting on the bench, ordered to remove it from the record.

Took oath in Urdu

Owaisi took oath as a Member of Parliament in Urdu, when his name was called from the bench, slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai were raised in the House, along with this some MPs also raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram. When Owaisi reached the dias to take oath, he first raised the slogan of Jai Bhim. After this he took oath in Urdu. After this, he again said Jai Bhim, Jai Mim, Jai Telangana, Jai Palestine.

Owaisi reached Parliament after winning the election for the fifth time

Asaduddin Owaisi has won the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat for the fifth consecutive time. Asaduddin Owaisi got a total of 6,61,981 votes this time and defeated BJP's Madhavi Lata by 3,38087 votes. Earlier in the 2019 elections, Owaisi won with a total vote share of 58.95%.
