BJP And RSS: After the humiliating defeat in Karnataka, Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh has advised BJP to do 'self-reflection'. Sangh has said in its main letter Organizer that only PM Narendra Modi and Hindutva is not enough for victory everywhere. SSS has given this advice in view of BJP's mission 2024. The RSS has made it clear to the party during this period that it is not easy to win elections without a strong mass base and regional leadership.

In fact, during the election campaign in Karnataka, BJP had emphasized on star campaigners, especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Hindutva. Many such issues were raised in Karnataka elections which were directly related to Hindutva. BJP was trying to register a unilateral victory on the basis of these issues. However, the public turned the party upside down and crowned the Congress with victory. It was definitely a big blow if not for the Congress but for the BJP.

Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh has written in its article that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's charisma and Hindutsav ideas are not enough to win elections at all places. It has been written in this article that ideology and central leadership can always be positive aspects for BJP, but the mind of the public will also have to understand the party. The Sangh wrote that the BJP tried to bring the issues of the Center in the Karnataka elections. But, Congress did not leave the local issues and this has been the reason for their victory.

The Sangh has also raised questions on the BJP's strategy in which the party tried to mobilize votes through caste issues. The Sangh has said that the party has made this effort in a state which is the hub of technology. The union has expressed concern over this. Let us tell you that ever since the PM Modi government came to the center, that is, for the first time since 2014, BJP has been seen defending the issue of corruption in any state election. Not only this, this has also happened for the first time when the Sangh has given advice to the BJP regarding the elections. Actually Prafulla Ketkar, editor of the main paper of the Sangh, has written these things in the editorial of 23 May.
