'INDIA' Alliance: The distance between Congress and TMC is going to end very soon. It is being said that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee can campaign for Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Actually, after Rahul Gandhi left Wayanad seat, Priyanka Gandhi will contest the by-election from here. In this by-election, TMC Chief Mamata can campaign for Priyanka Gandhi.

Yesterday i.e. on Thursday, Congress leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram met Mamata Banerjee. However, this meeting was kept very secret. In this secret meeting, P Chidambaram urged Mamata Banerjee to campaign for Priyanka Gandhi. It is being said that P Chidambaram is trying to bridge the cracks that had come between Congress and TMC due to Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary.

Adhir's statement further increased the distance between Congress and TMC

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had announced to contest the Lok Sabha elections alone. After this announcement, TMC contested alone on all 42 seats of the state. But after the elections, Mamata said that if the India alliance government is formed, she will support Congress from outside. In the Lok Sabha elections, TMC won 29 out of 42 seats. Whereas, BJP got 12 seats.

There was already bitterness between Congress and TMC over contesting elections separately in West Bengal, but this bitterness was further intensified by Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary. During the election campaign, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said that it is better to vote for BJP instead of TMC. This statement of Adhir increased the distance between TMC and Congress.

We are the ones who take the decision, not Adhir - Kharge

On this statement of Adhir, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had said that it is clear that Mamata Banerjee is with the INDIA alliance. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary is not the one who takes the decision. We are the ones who take the decision, it is the Congress party, the high command. Whatever we decide, they will have to follow it. After this statement of Kharge, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that just like BJP wants to make the country Congress-free, Trinamool also wants to make Bengal Congress-free. His fight will continue in the interest of the workers of Bengal. He will not back down from his fight against Mamata Banerjee and TMC. Will someone destroy Congress and I will sit quietly? I will keep fighting as a soldier of Congress.
