TRS MLA: A case of trying to horse-trade MLAs of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has come to light in Telangana. In this case 3 people have been taken into custody. According to the information, Cyberabad Police has detained three people during the search of the farmhouse located in Aziz Nagar in this case. Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Ravindra said the target was four Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLAs who had informed the police.

Cyberabad Police said that the deals for horse-trading of MLAs can be of 100 crores or more. He said that in this case he had offered 100 crore plus 50 crore. According to the report of NDTV, the police said that the farmhouse in Aziz Nagar was searched on Wednesday evening. Ravindra said that the MLAs had called the police saying that they were being "coaxed and bribed to change parties.

15 crore seized

According to media reports, Rs 15 crore has also been confiscated along with the 3 detained MLAs. BJP has been accused of horse-trading of MLAs. Alleging BJP on behalf of TRS, it has been said that BJP is trying to buy four of their MLAs by giving bribe. The names of these four MLAs have also surfaced. These include Ga Kantha Rao, Guvawala Balaraju, Beeram Harshvardhan Reddy and Pilot Rohit Reddy. It was these four MLAs who had informed the police about the matter.

There has also been a reaction from BJP on this whole matter. Telangana BJP leader Ramachandra Rao has termed the issue of buying TRS MLAs as a drama created by the ruling party. He said that TRS has made this a fake story to influence the by-election of Munugod assembly elections.
