A case has been registered against independent candidate from Barmer Lok Sabha seat and Shiv MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati at Pachpadra police station in Balotra. Late on Monday evening, Pachpadra CI Amra Ram Khokhar has registered a case against Bhati and 32 named people for violation of Section 144, obstruction in official work and blocking the highway. CID-CB will investigate the case.

Rajasthan News: A case has been registered against independent candidate from Barmer Lok Sabha seat and Shiv MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati at Pachpadra police station in Balotra. Late on Monday evening, Pachpadra CI Amra Ram Khokhar has registered a case against Bhati and 32 named people for violation of Section 144, obstruction in official work and blocking the highway. CID-CB will investigate the case. On April 27, Bhati along with his supporters staged a 4-hour dharna outside the SP office in Balotra.

In fact, Bhati had accused his supporters of assault during the second phase of Lok Sabha elections held in Rajasthan on April 26. He said that many incidents had taken place in Baytu, his supporters were beaten.

Many non-resident Indians were prevented from voting. Bhati had staged a protest outside Balotra SP office on April 27 regarding action in the case.

During this, Bhati said that there was a conspiracy on Friday. Fake voting took place at 100 booths and there was connivance of the administration. Voting was affected during this period.

Police officer Amra Ram Khokhar said that a case has been registered at Pachpadra police station regarding the incident that took place on April 27. The investigation has been handed over to CID and CB.

Who is Ravindra Singh Bhati?

When Ravindra Singh Bhati was studying in his college. During this time he became active in student politics. Ravindra Singh Bhati is the former student union president of Jodhpur-based Jai Narayan University i.e. Jodhpur University. In the year 2019, Bhati wanted to be given an election ticket from Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the student wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party, but this could not happen. In such a situation, Bhati contested the elections as an independent in the year 2019 and won by 1294 votes. This was seen in Jodhpur University after 57 years when an independent candidate won the student union elections. Let us tell you that without any political support, Bhati made his name in the student union.

Ravindra Singh Bhati, very popular among students, youth and social media, had joined Bharatiya Janata Party before the Rajasthan Assembly elections. Bhati was included in BJP on a large scale. But within just 9 days he rebelled against BJP. In fact, when Bhati joined BJP, it was considered certain that BJP would give him the ticket and make him a candidate from Shiv assembly seat. However, due to internal politics of the party, Ravindra Singh Bhati did not get the election ticket, after which he left the party and decided to contest the elections as an independent.

Ravindra Singh Bhati comes from Dudhaura, a village in Barmer district of Rajasthan. Dudhaura village is in Shiv assembly constituency adjacent to the border of India and Pakistan. There is a bread-and-daughter relationship in Shiv assembly constituency and the villages of Rajput community located in Pakistan. That's why Ravindra Singh Bhati is discussed in those villages of Pakistan and they also say that Bhati should win the elections. Bhati has done post graduation in Rajasthani language.
