BSP Political Tension: There is tremendous political turmoil in the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) these days. Party supremo Mayawati is seen in full action mode. First she removed her nephew from all posts and then showed the way out to Akash Anand as well. After these big decisions, now Mayawati has given her strong reaction on another important issue.

Mayawati's sharp reaction

Mayawati has recently questioned the government's intentions regarding the action of removing loudspeakers during Ramzan. She said that India is a secular country, where all religions should be respected equally. In such a situation, the central and state governments should treat the followers of all religions equally without any discrimination.

Posting on social media, she wrote that the step-motherly treatment being meted out to Muslims in religious matters is not justified. She warned the government that the rules and laws applicable to the festivals of all religions should be implemented impartially.

Increasing tension in society

Mayawati further said that restrictions and exemptions should be implemented equally at religious places, but at present this does not seem to be happening. She warned that such policies can spoil the peace and mutual harmony in the society, which is extremely worrying. She appealed to the government to pay special attention to this issue so that all religions can get equal rights.

Operation Loudspeaker in UP

The matter of removing loudspeakers from religious places in Uttar Pradesh is constantly in the headlines. As per the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, loudspeakers are being removed from mosques in various parts of the state. The government says that this step has been taken to control noise pollution. Guidelines were already issued to implement this decision.

The police administration has clarified that if any person installs loudspeakers illegally again, strict action will be taken against him. This decision has intensified political stir and debate in the state.
